Latest Buzz
Malcolm Butler "Good to Go" Despite Flu-Like Symptoms
According to Mike Reiss of ESPN, Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler is set to play in Super Bowl LII despite flu-like symptoms that delayed his arrival in Minneapolis to Tuesday—one day after the team arrived.
The symptoms made him visit the hospital and forced him to be a limited participant in practice on Wednesday.
"I wasn't there overnight, just took some visits to make sure I was OK. The training staff and coaches made sure that I was good to go before I made any moves," he said, per Reiss.
Butler has taken a backseat to fellow cornerback Stephon Gilmore in terms of production, but Butler will need to be on his A-game to take on an Eagles skill position group that consists of players like wide receivers Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agholor and Torrey Smith and tight end Zach Ertz.
Rob Gronkowski Cleared From Concussion Protocol
There was never a doubt he was going to play in the biggest game of them all, but Rob Gronkowski is officially cleared from the concussion protocol, according to Jeremy Bergman of NFL.com.
There's no more need to panic, Brady's perennial go-to's head is feeling much better, and he's ready to take on the Eagles.
Now we'll get to see some (hopefully) entertaining comments during media days.
