Houston Rockets guard James Harden notched the first 60-point triple-double in NBA history and the Rockets defeated the Orlando Magic 114-107 at Toyota Center on Tuesday night.
Along with tallying a career high and franchise record in points, Harden also accumulated 11 assists and 10 rebounds.
The 28-year-old shot an impressive 19-of-30 from the field, and he drained 17 of his 18 free throws and five of 14 three-pointers.
His record-setting moment came with 45.4 seconds remaining, when he made a step-back three while being fouled. Harden then converted his final attempt from the charity stripe for his 60th point.
The Rockets will visit the San Antonio Spurs at AT&T Center on Thursday.
