LiAngelo, LaMelo Ball vs. Jonava: Live Stream, Schedule and Preview

The Big Baller Brand Challenge ends Sunday, when LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball lead Vytautas into the fifth game of the series against BC Jonava at Prienai Arena in Lithuania.

Both LiAngelo and LaMelo erupted in the fourth game of the series, combining for 80 points in a 147-142 escape over BC Dzukija, a nail-biting affair meant to personify what the series—a LaVar Ball creation—was meant to be.

The offensive fireworks and fast-paced play should once again be on display Sunday, with the Ball brothers looking to keep the momentum going and end the series undefeated, especially after coming off yet another Lithuanian domestic league game loss.

To say things are getting more interesting around the Ball brothers would be an understatement. 

In the win over Dzukija, LaMelo posted 43 points while LiAngelo added 37, going for a double-double on the night courtesy of his 10 rebounds. 

It was LaMelo, though, who earned the praise of a guy by the name of Lonzo Ball after seeing his dunk during the contest: 

While the Los Angeles Laker liked the dunk quite a bit, most of the world paid more attention to a ridiculous stretch by LaMelo, during which he scored 23 points over a single quarter, including an eye-popping five three-pointers in a row:

To make things even more interesting, Vytautas revealed before the game that LaVar would essentially serve as the head coach.

"He will be an assistant coach on game protocol but will drive the team through the game and make many of the decisions," a spokesperson said, according to ESPN.com. "The style the team is going to play is going to be LaVar's choice."

Though the team hardly played any defense in the friendly and let the Ball brothers run wild, basketball journalist Donatas Urbonas reported the team has yet to decide whether LaVar will help out in future contests.

Saturday, though, the trio came slightly back down to earth in another Lithuanian League (LKL) game against Utenos Juventus. LiAngelo and LaMelo only combined for 17 points on about 12 minutes apiece in that game, which is around what they have been receiving in serious games because of their defense.

While they lacked gaudy point totals, one can begin to see both Ball brothers beginning to come around when it comes to the European pro game. The defense needs work, but it's clear the Big Baller Brand Challenge is serving its intended purpose well. And the more they keep progressing, the harder last-place Vytautas will find it to play them minimal minutes.

Back over in the Big Baller Brand Challenge, Sunday sees the final game of an interesting ride, one LiAngelo and LaMelo want to leave undefeated. And with both sides likely to play little in the way of defense, it should be another entertaining track meet.
