Russell Westbrook Jokes LeBron James Picked Him 1st for All-Star Game

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook went from worst to first, in his own mind, following Thursday's 121-112 win over the Washington Wizards at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Following the game, Westbrook spoke with reporters about his selection for All-Star captain LeBron James' side in the Feb. 18 showdown against Stephen Curry's squad. 

"Tell them how you really feel!" OKC teammate Carmelo Anthony yelled as Westbrook spoke. 

"But I see I was last picked on the list," the 2016-17 NBA MVP responded. 

Westbrook had the last laugh, though, when the media informed him the rosters were listed alphabetically. 

"Of course I was first!" Westbrook joked upon learning the news. 

Apparently, he didn't notice James spelled his name incorrectly:
