As the props suggest, there will be plenty of attention paid to Timberlake's wardrobe when he first grabs the microphone.
Where things get interesting is in the footwear department.
White kicks are a slim favorite at minus-120 (bet $120 to win $100), but it stands to reason Timberlake could ditch them if he goes for a more buttoned-up look in line with the "Suit & Tie" aesthetic from the 20/20 Experience that features black dress shoes (plus-200).
There's also a big underdog in play with brown shoes if Timberlake chooses to rock brown boots that channel the spirit of his new album, Man of the Woods.
Plus-700 is admittedly a bit tough to stomach, but hedging a bet on brown shoes with a separate bet on white or black kicks could help mitigate the risk.
Sonically, the biggest focus will be on Timberlake's opening number.
And if recent performances have been any indication, it's likely he'll go with a back-catalog classic to get the party started.
In 2015, Katy Perry went with her ballad "Roar" right off the bat. One year later, Coldplay opened with "Viva La Vida." And in 2017, Lady Gaga jumped into "Poker Face" after belting out a patriotic medley.
Based on that history, "Filthy"—the lead single off Man of the Woods—may not be the savviest play even if it has crept up to a plus-165 favorite before kickoff.
If we follow that logic, the best wagers figure to be "Can't Stop the Feeling," "Rock Your Body" or "SexyBack."
The bet here is that Timberlake will roll with the FutureSex/LoveSounds No. 1 in the top slot and save the other two throwbacks for later in the set.
