Milwaukee Bucks Fire Jason Kidd on Same Day as Twitter Birthday

If you didn't know better, you may believe the Milwaukee Bucks celebrated the firing of head coach Jason Kidd on Monday.

But Monday happened to be the club's Twitter birthday, and the social media platform celebrates such occasions by displaying balloons over users' timelines.

Twitter couldn't have guessed the Bucks would fire Kidd the same day, so balloons floating past a tweet about Kidd's ouster made for an interesting visual.

Not everyone was happy about the decision. Kidd's firing "devastated" big man Giannis Antetokounmpo, according to ESPN.com's Chris Haynes.

Happy birthday, Bucks!

Update: It appears the Bucks changed their Twitter birthday, as the balloons disappeared Monday afternoon. 

Hopefully, they won't have to break any bad news that day.
