Alabama's Jalen Hurts Loses Bet, Cuts Dreadlocks After National Title Win
Zac WassinkJan 21, 2018
Alabama Crimson Tide sophomore quarterback Jalen Hurts is a man of his word.
On Saturday, Alabama sophomore running back Josh Jacobs alerted the world of a bet he made with the signal-caller ahead of the College Football Playoff National Championship Game against Georgia:
Hurts, who was replaced by true freshman Tua Tagovailoa following halftime of that contest, lived up to the wager over the weekend, and both he and Jacobs shared his new look:
Hurts also tweeted that he has the "same mission" to "grind hard and improve everyday [sic]." It's expected he will compete with Tagovailoa for the 2018 starting job later this year.
