LeBron James Jokes About Cavaliers Seeking Trade for 'Teen Wolf'

LeBron James has not lost his sense of humor during the Cleveland Cavaliers' struggles.     

The defending Eastern Conference champions have dropped eight of their last 11 games heading into Saturday afternoon's showdown against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Quicken Loans Arena.

The rough patch has resulted in rampant trade rumors prior to the 3 p.m. ET deadline Feb. 8.                  

According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, the Cavaliers are eyeing DeAndre Jordan, George Hill and Lou Williams. Reacting to their extensive search for an upgrade, J.E. Skeets of NBA TV's The Starters jokingly added a few NBA legends and fictional characters into the fray.

James played along by confirming Cleveland's interest in Scott Howard from the 1985 classic Teen Wolf. He used an emoji, which seems inefficient because "Wolf" is a short word and the symbol barely resembles one.     

Why stop there? Jackie Moon is reportedly entertaining offers for Clarence "Coffee Black" Withers. Like Mike's Calvin Cambridge would offer instant offense off the bench, and he isn't much shorter than Isaiah Thomas.

Or maybe James could recruit that baseball player who joined the Looney Tunes in Space Jam.
