In August 2014, Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid tweeted a funny story about a female celebrity who told him to "come back" when he was named to an NBA All-Star team. 

That moment came Thursday evening when Embiid was announced as one of five Eastern Conference starters for the Feb. 18, 2018 event in Los Angeles.
