Report: Atletico Madrid Fan Stabbed Outside Stadium Ahead of Sevilla Match

An Atletico Madrid supporter reportedly was stabbed three times and taken to hospital ahead of the team's match against Sevilla in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday.

Marcaย reported the 22-year-old was attacked nearย Las Musas Metro station before Atleti's 2-1 defeat in the first leg of the Spanish cup quarter-final.

Perย Mundo (h/tย Marca), the fan was injured in their thigh, arm and back, and was wearing attire linked to Ultra groupย Atletico Frente.

The hosts were defeated in the gameย and must overturn their deficitย in the return match at Sevilla on Tuesday, Jan. 23.
