Vikings Fans Give to Saints Punter Thomas Morstead's Charity After Gutsy Effort
New Orleans Saints punter Thomas Morstead played through Sunday's NFC divisional-round matchup with torn cartilage in his ribs, and he gained respect from the Minnesota Vikings fanbase.
Vikings fans have donated over $25,000 to Morstead's charity, What You Give Will Grow, a foundation that focuses on giving back at any level. If he takes in $100,000, Morstead says he will partner with Children's Minnesota to present a check at Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis:

Throughout the year, many have participated in the spirit of giving to commendable causes.
Buffalo Bills fans thanked Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton with charitable support for knocking the Baltimore Ravens out of the playoffs and cementing Buffalo's spot. Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley inspired donations in his honor from fantasy football winners.
It's a great trend, as players don't just represent themselves on the gridiron but also stand for real-life causes off the field.
