Jacksonville Jaguars Troll Steelers Safety Mike Mitchell After Playoff Win
Ahead of Sunday's playoff game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh safety Mike Mitchell told The MMQB's Greg Bishop the Steelers and New England Patriots would meet in next weekend's AFC Championship Game.
"We're going to play [the Patriots] again," he said. "We can play them in hell, we can play them in Haiti, we can play them in New England. ... We're gonna win."
The Patriots clinched a spot in the conference title game with a 35-14 win over the Tennessee Titans on Saturday night, but the Steelers fell to the Jaguars 45-42 at Heinz Field on Sunday afternoon.
Jacksonville's Twitter account referenced Mitchell's comments after the victory:
Mitchell may want to face the Jags on "rookie" mode to avoid taking another loss.
