Cavaliers Lose After LeBron James Steps Out of Bounds, Misses 3-Point Attempt

Moe MotonJan 12, 2018

The Indiana Pacers dug an early 22-point hole but battled to complete an exhilarating comeback at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Friday.

LeBron James attempted to salvage the Cleveland Cavaliers' night but stepped out of bounds when he dribbled baseline on his way to the hoop with seconds remaining in the contest.

Following the turnover, Indiana Pacers guard Darren Collison sunk one of two free throws to make the score 97-95, keeping the Cavaliers' hopes alive. James took the final shot and missed the three-point attempt, which extended Cleveland's losing streak to three games.

After the game, James couldn't refute the out-of-bounds whistle, but he referenced a previous no-call that allowed Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo to leave Chesapeake Energy Arena with a basket and a win over the Oklahoma City Thunder:

Sorry, James. The new star gets the favorable treatment.
