Chelsea Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Alex Sandro and Michy Batshuayi
Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly joined Chelsea in the race to sign Juventus left-back Alex Sandro, while Michy Batshuayi has emerged as a loan target for La Liga side Sevilla.
Chelsea missed out on Sandro last summer, but Juventus are now willing to sell the Brazilian for €50 million (£44.3 million) after a less-than-impressive start to the season, per Nima Tavallaey Roodsari at Calciomercato.com.
However, according to that report, the Blues will face competition from PSG who want to bring in Sandro at the end of the season. The French side are unable to buy this winter due to financial fair play restrictions.

WhoScored.com showed how Sandro has been unable to replicate his best form this season:
Meanwhile, Juventus chief executive Giuseppe Marotta has said Sandro does not want to leave the club, according to journalist David Amoyal:
Per Matt Law at the Telegraph, the Serie A champions' valuation of the Brazil international has hindered Chelsea's interest.
It's understandable Chelsea may not be willing to pay top dollar for a player who has not been in spectacular form and also considering current first-choice left-back Marcos Alonso has been one of the club's brightest performers.
The 27-year-old's goalscoring record this season makes for impressive reading:
However, if the Blues do not move for Sandro this winter they may find his price rises in the summer if PSG show an interest. The big-spending French side have already shown they are not afraid to splash the cash by signing Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
Meanwhile, Sevilla want to strengthen their attack this winter and could move for Batshuayi, who may be interested in a loan move to boost his FIFA 2018 World Cup hopes, per ESPN FC's Peter O'Rourke.
Chelsea would be willing to allow the 24-year-old depart but only if they can bring in a replacement.

The Belgium international has scored seven goals in all competitions this season but has made just two Premier League starts and only one in the Champions League.
Chelsea have shown an interest in West Ham United striker Andy Carroll, and manager Antonio Conte has refused to rule out a move, per Bruce Archer at the Daily Express.
Carroll seems a strange target for Chelsea as he is not considered to be one of the Premier League's top strikers, and he has struggled with injuries in recent seasons.
If the Blues were to sign him, it may allow Batshuayi to move on loan, although it remains to be seen if Carroll would offer Chelsea anything more than their talented young Belgian.
