With 8:52 to play in the third quarter of Monday's College Football Playoff National Championship Game, the Alabama Crimson Tide decreased the Georgia Bulldogs' lead to 13-7.

Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm evidently took that as a challenge.

Two minutes after Alabama found the end zone for the first time, Fromm delivered a perfect strike down the right sideline for wide receiver Mecole Hardman.

Hardman shook a defender off and did well to remain in the field of play while completing the 80-yard journey for the score that increased Georgia's advantage to 19-7 ahead of the extra point.
