This probably wasn't how the Tennessee Titans drew it up, but they'll take the end result.
With his team trailing the Kansas City Chiefs 21-3 in the AFC Wild Card Round on Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium, Marcus Mariota saw his pass batted down by Chiefs cornerback Darrelle Revis. The ball bounced right back into the quarterback's arms, and he ran it in for a touchdown.
While it's an unconventional play, technically it counts as a touchdown pass and reception for Mariota, making him the first quarterback to complete such a play in the postseason, according to Zachary Kram of The Ringer:
Mariota's score helped Tennessee cut the deficit to 11 points.
