Logan spent the 2017 season with the Kansas City Chiefs. The 28-year-old appeared in 15 games, recording 52 tackles and 1.5 sacks.

A five-year veteran who has played for the Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, Logan is at his best as a body in the middle of a defensive line who can stop the run.

When Logan was a free agent last year, Sam Monson of Pro Football Focus listed him among the 10 sleeper players available for teams to sign.

"Logan is a true nose tackle, effectively limiting him to being a two-down player, which in today’s NFL has never been less valuable in terms of contract dollars," Monson wrote. "He has the ability though to make a major impact on those two downs if a team is willing to embrace the type of player he is."

There's been a surge in defensive linemen who specialize in stopping the run who are making a significant impact. Damon Harrison parlayed that skill into a five-year deal from the New York Giants in 2016.

Logan has the ability to play at a high level as long as he's in the right scheme to maximize what makes him unique. The Titans are betting on his fit for their defense as they look to return to the playoffs in 2018.
