John Fox Reportedly Expected to Be Fired by Bears After Week 17

The Chicago Bears will reportedly be looking for a new head coach after Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, John Fox is not expected to return to the Bears next season. 

Fox is about to finish up his third season with the Bears, who are 5-10 heading into Week 17. This will be their fourth straight year finishing last in the NFC North, their longest such streak since 1997-2000.

In 16 seasons as an NFL head coach with the Bears, Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos, Fox has a 133-122 record. The 62-year-old's teams have made two Super Bowl appearances (2003, 2013) and seven trips to the playoffs.

The Bears gave Fox a four-year contract when he was hired in January 2015. His .297 winning percentage with Chicago is the second-worst in franchise history, ahead of only Abe Gibron's .268 mark from 1972-74.
