Nick Young Plans to Release Diss Track on Warriors Teammate Draymond Green
Before focusing on a championship defense, the Golden State Warriors could begin 2018 marred in a civil war of words.
In an Instagram post Friday, Nick Young revealed an upcoming album collaboration with teammate JaVale McGee. Anyone skeptical of Swaggy P's musical talents is not alone. Draymond Green also has his doubts.
"I don't want to listen to Nick rap," Green said, per the Mercury News' Logan Murdock. "You got to get a better artist."

According to the Mercury News' Mark Medina, an undeterred Young plans to retaliate on the mic.
"I heard Draymond talking a little trash," Young said. "We'll make a diss track."
While he wouldn't reveal any lyrics for the pending project, Young said he will aim to release it around New Year's Day. That's assuming he's not joking.
Perhaps both Warriors bench players have too much free time on their hands. Following a strong year as a Los Angeles Lakers starter, Young is averaging 6.9 points in 14 minutes per game this season. McGee has played a career-low 8.1 minutes per contest this term.
