In The Dogg House: Raw 10/19/2009

Raw is in Jacksonville Florida tonight. (pre raw thought: I wonder if "Snoopy the Dog" And Santino Marella will interact.)

Raw starts with Snoop coming out in a pink low rider with Raw's Newly acquired Eve Torres and Bella Twins. Snoop says Raw is set to kick smackdown's behind at the ppv. 
"It's all Business  nothing personal"
Snoop actually sounds like he knows whats going on.
Introduces DX.

Dx does a skit with all of team raw coming out after running down the who's who and who's that of team smack-down. this is the first night I've been able to clearly see what it says on the back of DX's New Tshirt usually they blur it a bit.
"Now as required by law, when ever Snoop is on a show white guys must come out and speak the Snoop Dogg language" "Hey give me a five in the air , on my hand" More Katie Vick jokes. Ironically they have Shawn identify Drew Mc Intyre yet he is the one who openly doesn't watch the product at home. 

"If you are going to sleep your way to the top atleast doit with someone who weighs less than you."

Team raw is arguing, Kofi the voice of reason at the moment. Hunter points out the fading Jamaican accent (its been withering down little by little since he started being billed from Ghana.) Team Raw gets a test if anyone gets pinned the person who beats them gets their place on the Team. Triple H repeats his and that match starts now gimmick from last week. 

Team Raw vs Primo Chavo Masters Borne and MVP is opening match. good quick action . Chavo is starting in with Kofi quick pins by Chavo. Big Body drop. Cody tags in after big show and Mark Henry both tag themselves in. its Rhodes vs MVP. Cody goes to make a tag waves it off living up to his words. Cody has borne up for a suplex and Borne knees Rhodes in the face rolls over to tag Primo. Cross Rhodes on Primo Swagger tags himself in and pins Primo for the three. Big explosion of team Raw. Ending in a Spear By Big Show.

Words with orton and Dibiase if dibiase thinks of lifting a finger to Orton Orton is planning on removing him from legacy. break.

in from commercial Dibiase is in the ring looking disheveled. Voices hits the arena's ears and its a mixed reaction from the crowd. Hope there is no finger poke of doom. Very reminiscent of JBL and HBK at the beginning of the year.The crowd is into Ted. Ted fighting the urge to fight back. standing there to take the RKO only pushed Orton that was his only offence. funny thing roommate just said "well if Orton doesn't work out as a wrestler he probably would be great at being a sergeant in the marines."  

Captain Lou tribute. Full on history piece on Lou and his Pioneering of the Rock and Wrestling connection of the mid 1980's. 100% well done and respectful tribute.

King and Cole send us to a Highlight of Snoop's new Single. and we cut to a snoop backstage segment. Chavo complaining about not being on team raw, Jillian wants a rematch and with Santino dressed as charlie the brown (some day ill remember to keep questions in my head because it is definitely a case of sorry i asked.) Snoop ends the segment with a lot of weed innuendos (ahhh PG ratings.)

John Cena vs Triple H closing out Hour one. Doesn't sound as mixed of a reaction as usual with Cena coming to the ring first. Starts out collar and elbow . series of headlock take-downs on Hunter. Goes for an early AA Hunter dodges a bullet. Back to the face off collar and elbow to headlock take-down again. hip toss and two count. face off again collar and elbow this time triple H with a front face-lock. Cena turns it into a top arm-bar(looks more like a weak wrist-lock.) Cena gets a heck of a clothesline from the corner as he rushes the game who was on nested in the turnbuckles. Power whip to Cena into the corner. and he pairs it up with another to the opposing corner two count. Cena is selling so far. Cena fights out of the pedigree whipping Hunter over the ropes to the outside.

Zack vs Regal promo. Oh radio... never mind back to the match we come back in and Hunter gets Cena in a back breaker for a two count quick recap of "During the break" (always wondered if the live audience could tell that a commercial split the live matches) Fists are flying back and forth the Boo Yeah's are not as loud as normal. crowd is popping pretty well for both competitors. Both competitors look worn. Hunter fights out of the AA again and serves up a chop-block. trips up Hunter locks the Stf in. Hunter to the ropes. Cena hits a snap fisherman. goes for a bulldog and triple H tosses him clear across the ring. Pedigree is reversed with a drop toe hold center ring with the Stf on. Hunter is dragging Cena to the ropes. Dragged to the center and Hunter fights off a re-locking of the stf by getting to the ropes. Pedigree and a two count as Cena gets his foot on the ropes. the crowd popped when super Cena got his leg up.another break. 

Back again Cena gets into the ring. Cena with a stiff punch to the forehead. TripleH locks in the Sharpshooter. Cena crawls to the ropes. Flying tackle Cena ate his spinach. Protoplex (wait he sells his back after the protoplex) five knuckle shuffle time. Game hits his high knee and his face to knee move. Spine-buster and he is scouting a second pedigree. he hits it. two count. Going for a third pedigree and Cena pulls hunter into the attitude adjustment two count. Cena to the top rope for his fame-asser. triple H and Cena fight back and forth with reversals to the finishers. HHH hits his Third Pedigree for the three count.(no tank abbot in sight). Respect being shown to Cena by Hunter (kind of like happened between Kurt and Morgan last night.). Cena Looks to be addressing the Raw crowd in potentially his last raw. He does his salutes to the fans. his gimmick mannerisms. Huge pop for his last taunt on the stage. off to break.

Back from commercial we are treated to a recap of the live dirt sheet last week on smack-down. US champion is coming out to the ring (because they never push his current opponent i have to be ok with champ coming out first.) His opponent goes from jobber to super jobber as Snoop calls Marty Janetty to the ring for battle. Janetty does well aside from looking like his leg is injured. Snoop pointed out that Janetty is a former tag champ(really i missed that reign with the 1-2-3 kid.) Janetty to the top with a fist to the face. two count. Slowest reverse to the rocker dropper ever. almost dumped Janetty to the floor but Janetty catches himself and receives the SCF for the three. 

Plug for the game. Chavo discussing strategy to Jillian. break.

Divas championship Jillian vs Melina. Stairs 1- Melina 0. Jillian opens up with a Samoan drop. Swaggle pulls Chavo off the apron Melina hits her split legged DDT to retain. Snoop comes down to save swaggle. classic playground shove over someone bent behind the enemy. seals the segment with a spear/ spine-buster/double leg take-down. ends off showing swaggles dancing skills.break

Rundown of the main event for Sunday. Cole and King in the ring to cover the card after a montage of Cena/ Orton. 

On to the main Event of Hour two HBK vs Y2J. HBK is interrupted by Jericho. Jericho says the embarrassment of the Raw Roster starts tonight with HBK. Smack-downs team floods the arena. Shad's shirt is a highlight in its self a.K.a DA A Team. Future WWE Superstar sign in like the 3rd row perfect shot from the camera when Jericho is speaking. Raw comes out to face Smack-down.  Triple H gets on the mic. Vicky Guerrero comes out to tell Smack-down to leave the arena. (what power does she have again?) "we don't like you, your team or your Show." 

"Excuse me"biggest heat of the night easy.

Huge you suck chants directed at Vicky. 
"you heard your boss. go away. you wouldn't want to get into trouble oh wait you already are in trouble because we don't work for Vicky Guerrero. chaos in the ring as the 14 stars for Sunday's match are beating the holy heck out of each other cue the closing credit raw is over with a huge brawl taking place.

Raw definitely didn't disappoint this week every raw match was looked upon for sunday's ppv. the diva's match is a Six Diva tag raw(face team) vs Smack-down(heel team) I'm looking for Melina and Gail to carry most of the match and Kelly to swoop in and get the victory.(if raw even wins because in order to win Gail Kelly and Melina have do defeat the Glamazon Natalya and Michelle McCool.) .A little early prediction for Sunday-ish. Overall this show definitely made the ppv feel like it was supposed to be something special and that you would remember that night for a long time to come. i give this weeks episode an A- i personally just would have booked smack-downs involvement differently the ending was kind of cheesy and took away from a great wrestling show. this show went so fast i didnt even notice that two hours went by( i even watched the show twice to do this article). thats a good show in my honest opinion.

Match of the Night Cena and Triple H hands down, as well crafted as the match between Orton and Ted was Cena and hunter really didn't even split the crowd much. it was solid into the match the whole time. Cena even sold moves it was great. 

My highlight of the night goes to Hunter calling out Kofi's Accent Kofi's face was priceless.
