Manchester United Transfer News: Christian Pulisic Scouted, Latest Rumours
Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic, as manager Jose Mourinho continues his search for help out wide.
According to MailOnline's Simon Jones, Bordeaux's Malcom and Chelsea's Willian are also options for the Red Devils, but Pulisic is the one player the club has watched most closely.
The 19-year-old is one of the fastest rising talents in football and is in the midst of another fine season in Germany.

Jones noted Liverpool previously had a bid for his services turned down, with BVB wanting more than £35 million―a valuation that seems modest at best.

Pulisic hasn't made a secret of the fact he's a United fan, telling ESPN (via Goal's Stefan Coerts) he loved watching Wayne Rooney and admired his passion.
Per Grant Wahl of Sports Illustrated, his fine performances in 2017 earned him a spot in a select group:
The teenager was voted the United States' player of the year for his efforts with the national team and Dortmund.
He nearly dragged the Stars and Stripes into the 2018 FIFA World Cup, scoring in the decisive 2-1 loss against Trinidad & Tobago in the Hexagonal stage.
At the club level, his impact steadily grew as the year went on, and he was nominated for the Bundesliga Team of the Year―eventually losing out to team-mate Ousmane Dembele, who left for Barcelona shortly after:
While he's not an elite athlete with blazing speed, he's more than fast enough to make his mark out wide. The Hershey native has remarkably quick feet, which help him out in the short areas, and he's a fantastic dribbler who seemingly never loses control of the ball.
His football IQ is through the roof, and Pulisic always seems to make the right play at the right time. Half of his goals are a simple result of him picking his spots and timing his runs across the face of goal to perfection.
On top of his value on the pitch, his status as America's best young talent makes him a marketing star as well, per Marca's Chris Winterburn:
United are a business as well as a football club, and they'll value what Pulisic could do for them in the huge American market.
Pulisic appears perfectly happy at Dortmund, but BVB are in the midst of a difficult spell and only just parted ways with manager Peter Bosz. Die Schwarzgelben were disastrous in the UEFA Champions League and already trail Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga by double-digit points.
While the club won't wish to sell, Pulisic may be tempted by a project that appears to be headed for more success, especially if his love for United is still as strong as it used to be.
A January move seems unlikely, but if BVB's struggles continue in the new year, a summer transfer may well be possible.
