Arsenal Transfer News: Latest Rumours on James Tarkowski and Jose Arnaiz
Arsenal are reportedly considering a summer move for Burnley defender James Tarkowski and are also said to be interested in Barcelona youngster Jose Arnaiz.
The Gunners and Manchester City could bid for Tarkowski in the summer, as Burnley will not allow him to leave in the January transfer window, per Matt Hughes at The Times (h/t The Sun's Gary Stonehouse).
The 25-year-old has been an ever-present for Burnley this season and has helped Sean Dyche's side to an impressive sixth place in the Premier League table.

The Clarets also have the joint best defensive record in the top flight, having conceded just 12 goals in 18 matches, along with Manchester City and United.
WhoScored.com show just how good Tarkowski has been this season:
However, the defender will now sit out his side's next three games after being banned for three games for violent conduct after a clash with Brighton & Hove Albion striker Glenn Murray, per BBC Sport.
The club have also confirmed the defender will use his time out to have an operation on a hand injury:
Tarkowski has been a relevation for Burnley this season after being promoted to the first team and has shown what a strong defender he is, with a great reading of the game.
Arsenal, meanwhile, may need to strengthen in the summer with Per Mertesacker set to retire at the end of the season, while Laurent Koscielny will turn 33 next year and is heading towards the end of his career.
The Gunners are also keen on Arnaiz and could look to spring his €20 million release clause in January, per Xavi Hernandez at Marca.
Arnaiz is Barcelona B's top scorer this season, but his only game time for the senior side has come in the Copa del Rey, and he could be tempted by a move to north London.

The 22-year-old was used in both legs of Barcelona's Copa del Rey win over Murcia and was on target in both games.
However, he is yet to feature in La Liga and could see his chances of forcing his way into the team further reduced by the return to fitness of Ousmane Dembele.
Arnaiz is a pacy winger who enjoys taking on defenders and also has an eye for goal. However, he will turn 23 next year and still looks some way off becoming part of the first-team picture at the Camp Nou.
It's unclear if he would play any more regularly at Arsenal, as he is still quite raw and lacks experience, but Barcelona would surely be loath to lose one of their most promising youngsters.
