The Los Angeles Lakers will honor legend Kobe Bryant by retiring his No. 8 and No. 24 jerseys at halftime of Monday's game against the Golden State Warriors at Staples Center.
Bryant played 833 games rocking his original number. He scored 19,755 points, appeared in eight All-Star Games, won a single scoring title and three championships during that portion of his career.
He played in 733 games wearing No. 24. He tallied 19,528 points, participated in 10 All-Star Games, won another scoring title and picked up two more rings after making the switch.
