Lakers Fan Says He Lost 170 Pounds Since Kobe Bryant's Last Game

The Los Angeles Lakers will retire Kobe Bryant's No. 8 and No. 24 jerseys during halftime of Monday's game against the Golden State Warriors at Staples Center. 

And one fan has evidently been living his best life since Kobe last graced the floor there. 

Chris Huerta, from Glendora, California, tweeted pictures of his physical transformation since April 2016 and this caption: "Down 170 lbs since @kobebryant's last game. Took it one day at time with that #MambaMentality." 

Lakers owner and team president Jeanie Buss, tagged in Huerta's original tweet, gave him a shout-out for his hard work:
