'Price Is Right' Contestant Acknowledges Players on His Fantasy Football Team
When contestants of The Price Is Right spin the wheel before the Showcase Showdown, they usually get the opportunity to greet friends and family on national television.
One participant instead decided to thank members of his fantasy football squad.
He sent his best wishes to Cam Newton, Leonard Fournette, Christian McCaffrey, Alshon Jeffery and Terrelle Pryor Sr. Heading into Week 15's weekend slate, Newton ranked No. 5 among fantasy quarterbacks on ESPN.com. Fournette and McCaffrey were both top-10 running backs under the site's point-per-reception scoring system, and Jeffery has scored six touchdowns in the Philadelphia Eagles' last six games.

Washington placed the wideout on the injured reserve list after he underwent ankle surgery last month.
Hopefully the enthusiastic fantasy manager found a strong waiver-wire replacement whom he didn't have time to address. While he listed a solid foundation, it wasn't exactly a championship nucleus worth bragging about to Drew Carey.
