Hours ahead of Wednesday's game against the Indiana Pacers, Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George told reporters he expected to hear boos during his return to Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The home fans didn't disappoint:

George probably didn't mind, as he had the last laugh.

With 11 seconds remaining in the game and the Thunder ahead 98-95, George forced a turnover at midcourt before being fouled.

He drained both free throws, and then he celebrated by appearing to shush Indiana fans before the final horn cemented OKC's 100-95 win.

George tallied 12 points and five assists in the victory.
