Pacers GM Kevin Pritchard's Twitter Account Likes Paul George Trade Tweets
When the Indiana Pacers traded forward Paul George to the Oklahoma City Thunder in July in exchange for big man Domantas Sabonis and guard Victor Oladipo, many felt general manager Kevin Pritchard gave up a four-time All-Star for little value in return.
Now Pritchard looks like a front office genius, and he's reminding people through his likes on Twitter:
With 33 points, Oladipo helped the Pacers snap the Cleveland Cavaliers' 13-game win streak December 8. He proceeded to drop 47 points in the next game against the Denver Nuggets. He's playing on an All-Star level.
Sabonis, meanwhile, is averaging nearly a double-double with 12.1 points and 8.5 rebounds per contest. The Pacers stand fifth in the Eastern Conference with a 16-11 record.
With the Thunder, George's shooting percentage has dropped below 42 percent, and his team ranks ninth in the Western Conference standings at 12-14.
On Wednesday, the Pacers host the Thunder at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Keep an eye on Pritchard's Twitter handle for more passive-aggressive gloating throughout the game.
