Arsenal: Arsene Wenger Off to Chelsea?
A top Chelsea source has been quoted in an English tabloid saying that Arsene Wenger has now emerged as their top target to become Chelsea manager next season.
Wenger, who is said to be mulling the deal, signed a new deal at Arsenal for three more years only in August.
The top Chelsea source stated: "Wenger has now moved to the top of our list as we have missed out on everybody that we've contacted till now."

He went on to say, "Wenger has the pedigree to do well at Chelsea and has had the world set alight with the beautiful football that Arsenal play so Mr. Abramovich wants him to lead our project for the next five seasons."
It has been stated that Wenger will receive a whopping forty-million pounds over the five seasons.
Wenger, currently on a holiday in Italy is said to be mulling over the offer. One of his closest friends told the tabloid, "Arsene finds it somewhat monotonous at Arsenal and wants a new challenge."
When asked what the new challenge would be, his friend replied, "Well, he has to make Chelsea win everything, doesn't he? Otherwise, he'll get sacked! That will spur him on. Pressure gets the best out of Arsene—we all know that."
If Arsenal do lose their manager, they will demand a thirty-million pound compensation package and they have tentatively lined up French coach Frederick Renaissance to take them through yet another new era under a relatively unknown coach.
When asked whom Chelsea would turn to if Wenger rejected them, the source replied, "The logical choice would then be Sir Alex Ferguson—Mr. Abramovich likes him a lot too."
