Taking The Wrong Path
I do listen to Rush from time to time. However, we don’t agree on everything politically.
The NFL’s apparent blacklisting of Rush Limbaugh prevented him from working in the industry he loves. In 1947 the House Un-American Activities Committee investigated Communist influence on the motion picture industry which turned out to be a black mark in our history. That black mark is back except it sits above the NFL.
Though Rush has not been accused of sympathizing with Communists he has been hit with an undeserving label of a racist. This label has been based on some quotes reported by CNN that have been proved to be lies. These completely made up falsehoods without a hint of truth have shaped much of the bad will against Rush Limbaugh. They weren’t words he spoke and that were just misunderstood like the McNabb gaffe. They were completely made up, he never said them.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
These lies have been repeated and believed by some NFL players who strangely admit that they never heard Rush utter them; instead they claim they read about what he had said. It seems the NFL through Goodell has moved toward an intolerant path back in time. Though they can claim the NFL could hire anyone they wish, but so could the motion picture industry back in the 50s. It’s the wrong path. The NFL made such strides for the advancement of African Americans, they should make the same strides for people with different political opinions. Though they might not align with Goodell they do align with half the country. If MLK were alive today he would be ashamed of what the NFL has done. “The time is always right to do what is right.” MLK
Goodell and the NFL’s actions were divisive and they alienated fans everywhere.
