Heisman Hopefuls: B/R Highlights Finalists Prior to Trophy Ceremony

Baker Mayfield, Lamar Jackson or Bryce Love will take home the 2017 Heisman Trophy on Saturday night.

Having thrown for 4,340 yards and 41 touchdowns for Oklahoma, Mayfield has the inside track on leaving New York with the award.

Yet Louisville Jackson's has an interesting case to join Archie Griffin as the NCAA's second two-time Heisman winner. The dual-threat quarterback tallied 1,443 rushing yards and 17 rushing touchdowns in addition to passing for 3,489 yards and 25 touchdowns.

Love will look to become the third running back since 2005 to win the prestigious hardware. The Stanford junior registered 1,973 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns.

The Heisman Trophy presentation, televised on ESPN, begins at 8 p.m. ET.
