Brandon Ingram Sinks Game-Winning 3, Lakers Beat 76ers 107-104
Los Angeles Lakers forward Brandon Ingram drained a game-winning three-pointer with two seconds remaining for a 107-104 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers at Wells Fargo Center on Thursday night.
With under five seconds left in the contest, rookie Los Angeles guard Lonzo Ball drove baseline and attracted a triple-team that freed Ingram behind the arc.
Ball delivered a pass to the second-year pro, who wasted no time in launching an open three that hit nothing but net.
Ingram finished with a team-high 21 points to go with seven rebounds. Ball contributed 10 points, eight assists, eight rebounds, four blocks and three steals.
Philadelphia center Joel Embiid led all scorers with 33 points. Rookie guard Ben Simmons notched his third triple-double of the campaign, tallying 12 points, 15 assists and 13 rebounds.
