Kyrie Irving Drains Pair of Clutch Layups in 4th Quarter vs. Mavericks
Zac WassinkDec 6, 2017
Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving used his speed and spectacular dribbling skills to produce a pair of highlight-reel scores in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks at TD Garden.
With 3:52 remaining in the contest, Irving received a pass from teammate Al Horford before racing down the opposite end of the court and through the Dallas defense for a coast-to-coast layup.
The 2016 NBA champion wasn't finished there.
On Boston's next possession, he utilized a clever spin move to blow past Dallas guard Wesley Matthews for a driving layup while drawing a foul.
Irving finished the evening with a game-high 23 points to guide the Celtics to a 97-90 victory.
