Nets Honor Jay-Z's Career with Elaborate Birthday Cake

The Brooklyn Nets celebrated Jay-Z's 48th birthday with a special cake designed to commemorate the rapper.

Roc Nation's Emory "Vegas" Jones posted a peek at the detailed treat, featuring homages to Jay-Z's songs and albums as well as a two-way pager and New York Yankees cap. He received the surprise Sunday at his NYCB LIVE concert at Nassau Coliseum.

According to NBA.com's Alex Labidou, Miriam Milord of BCakeNY in Brooklyn spent five days crafting the personalized cake, infused with the D'Usse Cognac part-owned by Jay-Z, who sold his portion of the Nets in 2013.

Such an extravagant cake seems too pristine to actually eat. Who would want to ruin it by cutting a slice?
