When the NFL relaxed its celebration rules this season, it maintained its ban on dunking a football over the crossbar.
Apparently, its objection is not in repurposing the uprights as a makeshift basketball hoop. After scoring his eighth touchdown of the season, Leonard Fournette and his Jacksonville Jaguars teammates pretended to line up for a free-throw attempt. He shot the pigskin through the post before Josh Lambo netted an official extra point.
