Pontiac Silverdome Fails to Implode on 1st Demolition Attempt

It appears the Pontiac Silverdome won't go down without a fight.

The former home of the Detroit Lions and the place where Hulk Hogan famously slammed Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III was set to be demolished Sunday morning, but the stadium did not fall following the first run of explosions.

Per Fox 2 Detroit, the Silverdome could remain standing beyond Sunday:

Perhaps we could all learn a thing about toughness from the defunct facility.
