Klay Thompson Gets Interviewed About Scaffolding for Local New York News

A weekend road game against the Brooklyn Nets gave the Golden State Warriors an opportunity to explore New York City. While Stephen Curry appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Klay Thompson talked to a local Fox affiliate about building scaffolding.

"I usually observe if the piping and stuff is new," Thompson said. "Sometimes, you know, if something looks like it's been there a while, I kind of try to avoid that."

For those wondering if the interviewer recognized the shooting guard, the station at least did not keep it hidden. The piece's graphic properly identified his name and occupation ("NBA Player").

Maybe the production crew just wanted someone tall with higher odds of being inconvenienced by building construction. The query allowed the well-known Californian to offer his opinion about piping and led to no accompanying basketball inquiries.
