Richard Sherman Says Deshaun Watson 'Played the Best Game' of Any QB vs. Seattle
In an early submission for Game of the Year, Deshaun Watson produced 402 passing yards, 67 rushing yards and four touchdowns on the road against the Seattle Seahawks.
The Houston Texans quarterback also threw three picks in a 41-38 loss, but he nevertheless received high praise from Richard Sherman.
In a phone interview with The MMQB's Peter King, the Seattle cornerback relayed his comments to Watson after the game.

"You played the best game any quarterback has ever played against us, and we've played all the legends," Sherman said. "I respect how you hung in there and kept battling and battling."
Perhaps he was caught up in the moment. Tom Brady threw for 328 yards and four touchdowns in a Super Bowl XLIX triumph over Sherman's Seahawks. Matt Ryan eliminated them last year with 338 passing yards and three scores.
Yet it's undoubtedly impressive for a newcomer to torch the Legion of Boom at CenturyLink Field.
