Steve Kerr Wears Vibrant Suit to Honor Former Warriors Player, Coach Al Attles
Golden State head coach Steve Kerr honored former Warriors player and coach Al Attles with a tribute suit Friday night in a home game against the Washington Wizards.
Attles played for the Philadelphia Warriors, who moved to San Francisco, for 11 seasons between 1960-71. He transitioned into a coaching role and led the franchise to an NBA championship in 1975.
After his active basketball career, the Warriors icon continued to attend games and celebrated the team's last two successful title runs.
Despite his recent health issues, the Warriors decided to honor him with bobblehead dolls for the fans. The players wore apparel that mimicked his dress style.
Kerr's gesture takes it a step further in Attles' honor. Look out, Russell Westbrook, you have competition in the fashion game.
