Allsports Commentary: The new Addition to the Family

I thought today I would not really talk about sports news or sports on the web other than to say the Toronto Maple Leafs lost again last night 4-1 to tie their worst start ever. Henrik Lundqvist of the New York Rangers stoned them and was the difference in the game. Enough said it is just depressing, lol. A guy had a good sign at the game last night that read, ” Never mind the Playoffs, just win a game”

Anyway I thought I would introduce you to the newest member of the allsports family. His name is Scooby (my daughter named him). Scooby is our two month old Chocolate Lab puppy and he is a going concern.

The girls have been after me for about 3 years to get a puppy. I finally cracked and got one. I wanted a real dog though, not something that my cats could kick the crap out of.

When Scooby is fully grown he will weigh about 75-80 lb and I will likely need  a new car for our family trips. Labs are great family dogs and are very protective of children.

The problem is and its something that I will likely want to be shot for later, lol, is that a dog is like raising another child. They need love and attention and of course, lots of exercise. So far so good though as Scooby is a pretty smart little guy and very well behaved. He will end up being my dog as the girls will be off to University in 3-4 years.
