Giannis Antetokounmpo Dedicates Game Ball to Deceased Father
Ryan McCrystalOct 21, 2017
Giannis Antetokounmpo poured in 44 points Saturday night, carrying the Milwaukee Bucks to a 113-110 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
After the game, Matt Velazquez, Bucks beat reporter for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, captured a heartbreaking image in Antetokounmpo's locker.
Antetokounmpo signed a game ball and dedicated it to his father, who died of a heart attack in September.
According to Velazquez, the dedication reads: "This is for Daddy. We got a win tonight and I got 44 points."
