Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch had an interesting Thursday evening.
The veteran was ejected from Thursday's division rivalry game versus the Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum in the second quarter. He left the sideline during an on-the-field altercation and then made contact with an official.
Per The Athletic's Marcus Thompson, Lynch watched the remainder of the contest from the stands. Fans then spotted him riding the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) with Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters, a fellow Oakland native:
Per Logan Murdock of the Mercury News, Peters told reporters after the game that Lynch was aiding him during the scuffle.
"They can say what they want but one thing's for certain: Family do come first," Peters stated.
