Texans QB Deshaun Watson Comments on Growth During His Rookie Season
Deshaun Watson has made meteoric strides early in his NFL career.
The Houston Texans rookie quarterback, who started Week 1 on the bench behind Tom Savage, leads the NFL with 15 passing touchdowns. Houston has scored 157 points over the last four games.
The former Clemson star told reporters he views every snap as a learning opportunity.

"I've grown a lot," Watson said. "Each rep is another step for me to be able to grow as a player, as a person and as a leader. Getting more comfortable in this league is very, very hard to do, so each rep is real critical."
With the Texans getting a Week 7 bye, his development will be contained to practice for the next week-and-a-half. That extra preparation could come in handy, as Houston will face the Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field in Week 8.
