Boxer Mikaela Lauren Kisses Opponent Cecilia Braekhus During Staredown

The undefeated Cecilia Braekhus will defend her WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO World Welterweight titles against Mikaela Lauren this Saturday in Stokke, Norway. While promoting the fight, they faced off for the standard photo opportunity.

Lauren ended the typical staredown by kissing Braekhus on the lips.

After slapping her upcoming opponent and walking away, the champion laughed at the absurd occurrence with her team.

Braekhus defeated Lauren by TKO when they last fought in 2010. Per BoxingScene.com, Lauren insisted she is better prepared to pull off the upset:

"I think she is underestimating me. Maybe she thinks I'm still the same fighter I was seven years ago, but I wouldn't even call myself a boxer back then. I was a novice. I've developed so much since our first fight. I'm a completely different fighter now, and she is going to see just how much I've improved on Saturday."
