Martavis Bryant's Girlfriend Criticizes Steelers in Deleted Tweet
Martavis Bryant's dwindling role in the Pittsburgh Steelers offense has led to rumors of him wanting to leave. His girlfriend, Deja Hiott, provided fuel to the speculation with a since-deleted tweet accusing the organization of holding the wide receiver back.
On Sunday night, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that Bryant requested a trade. The 25-year-old caught two passes for 27 yards on a season-low three targets, giving him just 17 receptions for 231 yards in six games. According to Pro Football Reference, he partook in 33 of Pittsburgh's 64 offensive plays.
Hiott appeared to respond to a Bleacher Report tweet regarding Bryant's trade request. She blamed Pittsburgh for stifling his growth with limited opportunities.
