Baltimore Ravens Sing Happy Birthday to Team Inspirational Figure O.J. Brigance
On Friday, the Baltimore Ravens wished a happy birthday to an inspirational figure within the organization, O.J. Brigance.
Brigance serves as the senior advisor to player engagement, but he carries a major influence among the players in the locker room. He's a former Grey Cup champion with the Baltimore Stallions from the 1995 season and won Super Bowl XXXV as a linebacker with the Baltimore Ravens.
Off the field, he's lived with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) for 10 years. In May, he held a celebration for defying the odds and living with the disease for a decade. According to an Associated Press report, only 10 percent of individuals live beyond the 10-year mark with ALS.
