A trio of defensive players stood out during Week 3 of the 2017 NFL season.
The Houston Texans came up short in their upset bid versus the New England Patriots, but Houston defensive end Jadeveon Clowney notched a pair of sacks against Tom Brady and finished with six tackles on the day. The former No. 1 overall pick also scored a touchdown on a 22-yard fumble return during the second quarter.
Dallas Cowboys defensive end Demarcus Lawrence made his impact felt against the Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football. The 25-year-old registered six QB hits and three sacks in the winning effort.
