The Detroit Lions had a day to forget Sunday.
On 3rd-and-1 with eight seconds left against the defending NFC champion Atlanta Falcons, Detroit quarterback Matthew Stafford appeared to throw a go-ahead touchdown pass to wide receiver Golden Tate. The celebration didn't last long at Ford Field, though.
