Steve Kerr Says He Wants to Be Klay Thompson

Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson appeared to enjoy his summer, and he earned the nickname "China Klay" for his travels overseas that included air-balling a three-pointer and botching a dunk while cameras rolled. 

Golden State head coach Steve Kerr is a fan of the two-time NBA champion.

"If I could do it all over again, I would be Klay," Kerr told reporters during Warriors media day Friday. 

"I mean that. I want to be Klay. He's got it figured out. He just wants to play hoop, and have fun and play with his dog. The most low-maintenance guy on Earth." 

Update: Thompson seemingly didn't notice "China Klay" was a big hit among fans during the offseason:
