Russell Westbrook Will Launch His Apparel Collection Within a Year
Russell Westbrook quickly became an NBA superstar after leaving UCLA in 2008. He then claimed his first MVP award after surpassing Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson for most triple-doubles in a single season with 42 during the 2016-17 campaign.
Westbrook is now pushing new boundaries off the court. On Tuesday, he alluded to his plan to launch a clothing collection.
"For sure, I'm working on something," he acknowledged prior to a book signing Tuesday night at Barneys in New York, per Jean E. Palmieri of WWD. "It's coming soon—within a year."
He appeared at the luxury department store to promote his book Style Drivers, but the printed publication will become an afterthought to the MVP's fashion aspirations. He fed the frenzy via Twitter:
" #whynot https://t.co/vQGdGZ1riv

Possibly within a year, you'll be able to emulate Westbrook on the court while wearing his Jordan Brand sneakers and dress like him off the court with his clothing line.
