Kazbek Kabulov made a statement with a potential candidate for knockout of the year at YOKKAO 25.

Russia's Kabulov stunned Singdam Kiatmuu9 in Hong Kong with a sensational spinning back kick KO in the first round.

Per CombatPress.com's Zach Aittama, Kabulov became only the second non-Thai fighter to defeat Singdam. The loss snapped a nine-fight win streak for Singdam.

The two opened the round with a feeling-out process. Kabulov scored early with a crisp body shot. Singdam responded with hard-hitting leg kicks. Singdam continued to press forward, but he was not expecting what was coming next.

Kabulov's show-stealing fight-ending technique was on point, and he nailed his opponent with the kick with just over a minute remaining in the first round.

From now on it seems like the Muay Thai world will have to attach a little bit of respect to Kabulov's name following the KO performance.
